Paneer tawa masala is one of the simple dish  I cooked so far.
Its very easy and a quick dish. It’s Simple yet delicious.
I made this dish quite a lot of time.
Tawa paneer usually made in a large  tawa or griddle.
If you don’t have one you can use frying pan.
This tawa paneer goes well  with naan ,phulkas.

Ingredients:
200 to 550 grams paneer
1 large onion –finely chopped
1 medium capsicum -finely chopped( I add green peas thats what i had in my fridge )
3 medium tomatoes – finely chopped
4 to 5 garlic
1-inch ginger
1 green chili -chopped
½ tsp  ajwain (omam,carom seed)

¼ turmeric powder
1 tsp pav bhaji masala

2 Tbs butter
½ crushed kasuri meth (dry fenugreek leaves)
Few chopped coriander leave for garnish

Preparation for tawa masala:

1.finely chop the onions and capsicum
2.crushed the ginger and garlic in a mortar-pestle to a paste
3.add the chopped tomatoes in a blender and make a smooth puree. Keep aside

How to make tawa paneer:

1.     Melt the butter on a tawa or skillet
2.     Add the ajwain and fry them for a few seconds or until aromatic
3.     Add the onion and sauté till translucent.
4.     Add the ginger –garlic paste, green chilies, capsicum, and sauté for about 3 mins.
5.     Then add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander, and pav bhaji masala , garam masala, mango powder.
6.     Stir and sauté for about a mins
7.      Then add the tomato puree and salt

9.     If the tomato masala looks dry, then add 1 to 2 tbs of water and continue to sauté.
.       Add the paneer cubes and stir well, so that the masala coats the paneer cubes evenly.
Cook the paneer for 1 min to min. Then add the crunched kasuri methi .
Sstir very well and switch off the flame.Garnish with coriander leaves
